A Quick Rundown of Events at Bucknell

In the most recent issue of The Counterweight I unveiled the IDEA Initiative. The initiative seeks to balance what we believe is a troubling disparity in conservative and liberal events held by our fair University. To that end, what follows are the events we were able to find and classify in the past two years. For those of you keeping score, yes that is 78 left-leaning events, and 3 right-leaning events. For more information on the IDEA Initiative, see the latest issue of the CW.

Samantha Soller Takes a Trip to Crazy Camp

The Bucknell Conservatives Club's own Samantha L. Soller, who serves as both the club's secretary and resident oppressor of men, attended the National Organization for Women's 40th Anniversary Extravaganza up in Albany, NY. When not marvelling at the glory that is geriatric bra burners chanting about their sexual organs, she was busy scribbling down notes for her article in Human Events, which is clearly a must read!

Charles Mitchell and Conspiracy Theorists

Former BUCC president Charles Mitchell's take on the Kevin Barrett situtation. For those of you who are unfamiliar, Barrett is a professor of Islamic studies at the University of Wisconsin who just happens to think 9/11 was an inside job.
